MOVING TO ABU DHABI


Relocating to a new country is a big decision. We want to help you through the process

If you intend to work and live in the UAE, you need to have a valid employment or residency visa. DarkMatter HR will be responsible for processing your employment visa and will take care of all the paperwork and expenses related to visas and medicals. The standard process takes four to six weeks.

As a minimum you will require the following documents to obtain an employment visa:

1) Attested original highest educational qualification. DarkMatter’s HR department will support you through this process and cover the costs up to 1,00 USD.

2) A passport, valid for six months, with at least one blank page.

3) If you have previously worked in the UAE a copy of your previous Visa cancellation
Yes, your spouse and up to three children under the age of 18 will be entitled to a joining one-way ticket from the nearest International airport of your point of origin to Abu Dhabi/Dubai if they relocate to the UAE.
The process for applying for a dependant’s visa can only start once you have arrived in the UAE and your residency visa has been processed. Our HR team will advise and guide you through the steps of processing a visa for your family.
If you have education certificates, marriage certificates or birth certificates, it is mandatory to get them attested in your home country before travelling to the UAE. Without these you will not be able to sponsor your family. We work with an partner company to support our new employees in attesting any documents that are required.
The UAE government has made it mandatory for all expatriates living in UAE to undergo a medical fitness screening. The service is provided to people who require a new visa, or renew an existing visa for employment, residency, or education. These tests are conducted in government approved medical centres in the UAE. A blood test is done to check for any transmissible diseases such as HIV/Hepatitis and an x-ray is conducted to check for Tuberculosis. Those with previous scars of Tuberculosis and those who fail their blood tests will be refused visas. If you think you are suffering from any communicable disease,you're advised to review it first in your home country.
Most pets, except birds and certain breeds of dog, are allowed into the UAE. However, it can be very difficult to find housing units where pets are allowed.
